    Hello everyone.
Long story short got a project bike, no electrical mods, only aftermarket part on the bike is a Race Fit Growler Exhaust.
Searched the web far and wide, couldn't find any info on these issues.
There are 3 issues that I can't sort out for the life of me.

    1. Dashboard stays always on, key in, key out, ignition on or off the dash stays on and so does the fuel reserve light.
Checked wiring, replaced with a knowing to work headlight section of the wiring loom where also the dash is connecting, still the same.
Checked all connectors for bent pins, corrosion and cleaned with contact cleaner, Checked all fuses 3 times, no joy.

    2. The bike starts without an issue, engine is smooth but no rev counter (indicator).

    3. Ignition on, fuel pump primes as it normally would without starting the bike, when pressing the horn button fuel pump primes again as I just turn off and on the key.
Bike starts without any issues all electrics work as they should apart from dash.
Put new battery in the bike as I thought at first battery that came with it which is 5y old might cause this, to no avail.

    Anyone ever came across this?
    Could be a shot dashboard?
Could those 3 issues be related somehow?

Thanks in advance for your input and help.

Could it be the wrong dash?

Flicking through parts listings. The pictures of the 2013 and 2014 meters are identical but the part numbers are different.
Maybe something happened to the original and the previous owner found another for sale that looked the same - but isn't really.

@Grooveski thanks for the info, that's something I didn't thought about.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone around me with the same bike to compare part numbers and eventually swap dash for test purposes.
If the price of a used dash wouldn't of been that steep I would of get one to test.
    Thanks again for your input.

The dash pinouts are shown on the wiring diagrams so if you can find both manuals you should be able to tell if anything's changed. It'll be obvious - the tacho signal pin on one model will be the low fuel on the other or something like that. If both pinouts are the same then you can write off the idea as bogus.

Have a go at removing the relays if you have any, and unplug the ignition switch to see if the dash goes off.

Is it the correct ECU part number.

Thanks Broadie. I will try that disconnting the ignition switch and the relays.
The ECU is original, same part number as on CNMSL

    Thanks again for the input.
As far as I know this model has no CAN and found no info online regarding that, I might be wrong though.

@Grooveski thanks again for the info.
The wiring seems actually intact, doesen't seems to have been messed with.
I'll have a look at the pin out to double check and make sure nothing is disconnected or connected the wrong way

Got my hands on a set of used clocks and everything works as it should, the dash coming with the bike has a shot PCB, all is now functioning as expected with the "new" clocks.
Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated.
Mods/admin this can now be closed as the issue is resolved.
