2017 2018 service intervals?

    Just about to have my first service at 500 miles tomorrow, I'm told the actual mileage should be 600 for the first one but the dealer said 500 is OK.

    What I'm struggling to see in the owners manual is future service mileage recommendations??

    I normally do 12 monthly but I'm just not getting the miles in so may leave future services until I hit the recommended mileage?

    So..... What should it be??

    Thanks Keith...... But think of me as a simple northerner who doesn't like to read books too much! :D

    In simpleton terms.....
    1st service.....
    2nd service......
    3rd service....... Etc etc

    1st service 600m
    2nd service 8000m or 12 months
    3rd service 16000m or 12 months
    4th service 24000m or 12 months ,
    and so on so do you get it now ;) .

    had my sp a year now 3k miles not to bad as a toy...due a service as well and set of tyres,..

    My cousin in Newcastle would just throw pints at his bike until he felt it was serviced. Wey aye, man!

    Everyone knows I will never reach the mileage intervals:D:D

    Mine goes in 1st week of July for its 12 monther - being 12 months after its first service.
