I have just ordered a tailtidy from eBay by a company called J-Tech. It’s cheap at £40 and it looks decent. I know @PauloHRC did this exact mod late last year with stunning results. Anyway, J-Tech contacted me immediately after my purchase to advise me that they will include plug and play connectors for my tail light FOC in my parcel. That will save me cutting wires. Will take a few pics and let you know how I get on over the weekend with fitting.

These look great quality and would not be used by fellow members if they were crap. There's obviously profit in them, so that makes me wonder how much R & G are making out of these things, especially when they both look pretty much the same when on the bike:

    Precisely. And why?

What guy ever refused a couple of screws with nice tight nuts?

What he meant to say was double sided sticky pads........when he said 'Tape' I imagined he had got some brown parcel tape and stuck it on with that haha :D

Arrived today so I decided to crack on with the fitting. The plug and play adapter for the tail light makes everything easy. Fairings were a little fiddly to remove but got there in the end.

It’s solid quality and for the price it’s unbeatable value for money.

A great product by J-Tech and a great helpful plug and play addition to the kit.

This reminds me I now need to order a new number plate. I’m a great fan of 6x4. Yeah I know it’s a little on the small side but I like to keep my rear end looking sharp ;) Thoughts?

It's looking sharp alright.......i would go for 7x5 myself. Problem is the actual tail tidy is 8 inches wide so on mine I've got half inch of the TT exposed. You'll have an inch either side and with the indicators being quite long it might not look in proportion.

Think I’ll go with the 7x5 due to gaps on either side but the rebel in me really REALLY wants the 6x4 :D

Just move to USA. Those guys get away with anything with plates stuck under the ABS box; on rear shockers; on the side of swing arms (Harleys) etc. Actually, you could probably get away with that in West Mids. Very rarely see the police around here except in the Macca's car park.
