Hi all, just dropped a deposit on an 09 HRC. Fingers crossed I should be collecting it early next week so will post up some pics when I do. Bit of background, First bike was purchased back in 2007, was a 03 plate CBR600RR in Red and Black. great 2 years with it until a car decided to pull out from a car park without looking both ways. Very slow crash, but bike got written off. 2 years after that I picked up a Suzuki SV1000S in Rizla colours prepared by Crescent. 04 plate purchased in '09. Great for cruising on the Motorway each morning to and from work. Then had a new BMW F800GT. Misses working for the BMW group, so had that for 6 months and didn't cost a penny except for fuel. nice enough bike, but glad it didn't cost anything. Was doing a house move so decided to leave biking out for a year, that year turned into 18 months so decided to start looking at the classified. Have been torn between the Repsol and the HRC, in the end I decided for the HRC.
Hiya, WA. Don't worry about all the banter about Repsol Versus HRC. Some of these members are just 'over-the-top' with their peculiarities and idiosyncrasies. I just can'tr comprehend it because I have none at all!
Welcome; you have chosen wisely. There are many HRC haters who find themselves inconsolable upon discovering just how much faster the HRC is....

You're absolutely right....and we may have to concede that.....but.. By the time you hrc lot have put your false teeth in, counted out a days supply of wurthers originals, checked there's enough p#ss stops on route and poked your piles around for maximum comfort....us other hero's have all been out and come back
