Now i have just checked my diary and it's no where near April 1st...... £7500 !!!! Is it CAT C/D ? There must be a reason.....Good god they are getting close to £11,000 new. That is a total bargain, and it goes to show that currently it really is a buyers market, if you have cash.... you are king, i just feel sorry for the dealers trying to flog 2008 models with 10k on the clock for the same money...... they dont stand a chance. I have seen some total bargains of late, some really cheap current model blades.... and a lot are simply not selling at even really good prices.

The carbon Akro pipe would fetch £400 - £500 on eBay.

Also the rear seat cowl would fetch £100 on eBay

Taking the above into consideration the bike is only up for £7,200 !!!!

New it was £11,200, £4,000 depreciation in 6 months !!! Bargain

As the old saying goes..... its worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, as all items really are. I have a mate who is determined to get a certain price for his Ducati, he has been selling if for about 4 months now and no one is willing to pay what he wants..... so he just keeps it at that price, his reason - It's worth that............ well maybe to him it is but he's selling it not buying it !!! I think if the price is not dropped then it will never sell, they are the choices all sellers make, price it right or keep it.

It's two months off Christmas and winters setting in no one's buyi g sports bikes, wait till march April and your now £6k bike will be worth £7k especially with how expensive new machines are.

I picked my RR8 up for £5500 from
A dealer with 800 miles on it with a 6 month warranty because it had a light mark down the side it cost me £200 to put right and that was with me changing the engine casings from
    Magnesium which I'm
Not keen on to the black/grey ones.

It's winter everyone knows this is when deals are to be had, and this typical scare mongering has a knock on effect, you see a bike cheap so you need to sell yours for the same or less to get the sale etc etc and it gets worse and worse until summer.

The guy wanted a quick sale and no its not cat damaged i even spoke to local dealer who sold the bike !!, not sure what to do with the other one......any of you guys know who can do a rebuild job ? my other bike is a repsol 2011 abs 1600miles (needs new frame) which i now have.....plus panels which ive also got plus all the other bits and pieces to repair (thanks Rick from here for exhaust and bits).
It was right hand damage after a small off at silverstone, ......... and apart from panels, levers and exhaust the worst bit was a small tear in the frame !...... track days can be bloody expensive !!!!!!!!

Could you not slowly rebuild it yourself over the winter and sell it at the begining of next season?
