Your Taylormade tail tidy do you decide where to put the reg plate hanger or comes like that?

TM tail tidy comes like that with a CF lip for mounting your plate

You feel a slightly more clunky change going into 2nd than rest of gears but still very smooth. Never managed to change gear as smoothly as it does. It becomes silky changing as you rev higher. It just is a must have IMO. I think Andy will get one too :D

Sounds like a good idea! Think they will hold their value when selling on quite well too! Can check out the TM pricing from Twowheelcentre.co.uk if you are interested ;)

Question for you mate and sps (if hes cool with it ) whats the mileage on your bike(s)?
Heres the reason- I have an 08 in black that I love to bits but she touching 25k- I dont usually consider keeping anything (except my '70 Bonnie still awaiting restoration!) beyond 5 years, as I ride daily and with sports bikes they upgrade so quickly models so thats its tempting to get a new one and avoid all that minor deterioration stuff and scuffing/wear that is unavoidable with knobbers wedging their shitty scooters on top of your crankcase regularly.
The new blade is nt that much 'newer' than the 08 and with upgrades like you guys have done you can refresh your bike and keep the relationship you have built up with her. Plus if anyone has read my 'stolen blade' posts (still awaiting trial!!), Im pretty concerned about theft. A guy who parks near me at work lasted 2 days before they tried to steal his 14 plate Panigale I was thinking of getting a '12 on in the spring, depending on budget and what comes up, probably on this forum, now Im not so sure.
Additionally the goodies dont (usually) transfer between pre and post 12 bikes and dealers prefer STD bikes, so if you are going to commit its logical to commit for the long -term.
Im thinking the trade in or re-sale on a 30k bike (even FSH) is going to be an issue.
Thats a long-winded way of asking a simple question but I think its an intersting one, perhaps other members have a view.
Hope you dont mind me asking.
Its a good looking bike you have there now, hope you enjoy it.
Perhaps ill head in that direction perhaps a 12- on as a black repsol rep on low mileage, probably with carbon bodywork?
    Thanks
    GaryS

I've got about 16k miles on mine, I have looked at newer blades but they haven't changed enough in style or performance to warrant changing if I'm honest, besides it's nice to personalise it to your taste

Nice bits of kit you have fitted matey.

How do the brakes compare ?

Does the QAT make it feel much different or jerky at low end/throttle on off ?

    Cheers in advance.

The brakes are a huge difference! Absolutely awesome and way more stopping power than standard! :D

The QAT is brilliant and a really good cheap mod to do. I have allowed about 5mm of travel so it's not totally on off so you don't get any mid corner throttle on jerks. I think they should have the QAT as standard out of the factory.

And can't say strongly enough how awesome the HM QS GP is!

Feel like the bike has been really transformed and even my brother is thinking of selling his big bang R1 for a similarly modified blade :D
