I am looking to relocate the rectifier to the outside of the bike. The ABS rectifier has the plugs on a loom compared to the non-abs which are attached so wonder if they are a straight swap?
Nope, plugs are different. If you are really set on doing this, your best bet is extending the wiring. But make sure you do a good solder, heat shrink, insulation job. Butt splicing will not do for the charging system. Good luck.
