Just wondering if any one has any experience with these Brembo alternatives

A bit cheaper but apparently the same quality. Iv spotted them on a few BSB bikes lately so can't be bad

I considered these before I bought my brembo but since I got such a good price in the end it worked out cheaper than the accossata anyway.

I don't think you would notice any difference at all regarding quality. If you can vet it much cheaper than a brembo then I would say give it a try.

The brembo will be worth more if you come to sell it and parts are much easier to get hold of.

For £175 new I personally wouldn't consider used as they got for close to that 2nd hand. There are lots of knock offs around for sale so would avise going to a brembo dealer.

IMO they're the best £ for £ mod on the blade and well worth doing.

    Dan

Was the £199 for a Brembo RCS master cylinder or was it for a Brembo 19x18 or 19x20?

    Cheers

    Rich

You won't get an RCS for that sort of money.

Thanks Dan, just about to order a Brembo 19x20 + banjo + front & rear braided hoses for £250 delivered.

Wanted to check that there were no better deals out there.

Was going to get the Brembo RCS but on reflection, they are just a gimic (being able to vary the ratio from 18 to 20).

I'll be more than happy with fixed ratio of 20 on track and also when the bike is on the road.

Only becomes an issue in damp conditions when you've got to be careful with how much pressure you exert on the brake lever!!

Also found the Accossato 19x20 master cylinder for £149!!

    I went for a 18.

I had a 20 on my Gsxr race bike and it was alot more grabby but less effort was needed I could brake with 1 finger.

For the road/track I would Advise 18 or if it's track only a 20 is fine.

You can change the ratio by changing the lever anyway

I have both the Accossato MC and Clutch linkage/lever ready to fit at the weekend. I can't comment yet on the performance, but the quality is great (terrible packaging though!).

I got the fully adjustable version from here:

Accossato | Speedo healer | Data Tool

    great service.

Oh, i also recommend the carbon fuel cap - probably my favorite looking mod on the blade.

If you get brembo callipers you need 18 ratio

20 ratio is for non brembo calipers
