    Recently, Autocar took a McLaren 12C to Rockingham Motor Speedway to face its toughest challenge yet. Could it outpace a Honda Civic BTCC racer driven by former champion Gordon Shedden and the pairing of 2013 British Superbike champion Alex Lowes and his Samsung Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade?

    I would have quite like to have also seen a stock fireblade put on the track too, just to see what a £12k bike could do against a £195k maclaren machine! :D

    wow thats impressive! quite suprised.. would have thought he would have lost out on the brakes too much to the bttc car. bikes do come down to the rider much more than cars i would say... alex isnt slow :)
