NICE !!!! Does she get tucked away for the winter or do you get out for a cheeky one if the cold sun shows face.. ?
99% tucked away but like yesterday the sun was shining and the roads dry so a cheeky 30 miles was in order!
Its a h7 HID kit in the dipped beam, ebay kit with super slim ballast and no inline power coverter so a really neat fit. High beam I just have a 100w blue tinted bulb as i only use hi beam for flashing or when passing. HIDs are no good for flashing as they take a 5-10 seconds before warming up...
ok, cheers mate. I want something brighter, but don't want the HID route⦠but, you got a link mate? easy to fit??
Really really easy takes about 30 mins total. I will have a search for te kit I used and post it here.
To get a nice water tight fit for you need a spare head light rear cover (round plastic thing that screws off) as you need to cut a hole in to fit the grommet of the hid kit. No normal bulb will give you the brightness of a HID. I've tried trust me!
This is the kit I have. eBay item 110936983281 No in line converter boxes for easier fitting mine have been going strong on 3 different bikes for 4 years!
whats the craic about mot and these kits. always wanted to fit one but was told you need a projector style lens.
I know that apples to cars from feb 2013. Not sure about bikes but its a 1 min fix to put a normal bulb back in for the MOT
mind you its about time they have it for the cars. getting blinded all the time by the boy racers in my town
