An update to my 2 smoker.

    Well as some of you know i bought a TZR250 3MA and have been working night and day to get it back like the day it was when it came out of the factory so i tough id stick some pictures up to share what i have done to it.
    The day i got it home.

    It was a good clean bike but it had been left lying for the last 4 years and every nut and bolt had rusted alony with the sub frame and all the brackets so it was striped down to be cleaned up.

    There was some rust around the seem on the tank and the right side fairing had been rubbed so i sent them off to be repaired and resprayed they came back to me with out the red stripe as the transfers are not available anymore so i was going to get them made until i put it back together and i like the look of it with out them. so mow i just need to get some YAMAHA transfers for the tank. so this is the final result. let me know what you think.

    The bike looks bloody good! personally I would get some graphics shop to knock up the red stripes to finish off (personal opinion) but on that a very cracking Job! right you have inspired me lol where did I leave the sponge!

    Thanks for the kind words. I might get the red stripe done at some stage but for now I'm liking it as is.

    And sell it haha. Took me a long time to find one and get it like this so no ******* way.

    I would get the grafix sorted (personally) but I am liking it without also
    But it so near standard its like you haven't finished it if you didn't do it

    Liking your work Speedy. I just love those exhausts.

    Personally I like the flash of red, but hey it's your bike.

    Just make sure you give it a good caning now and then.

    Makes me miss my old LC

    What a cracker. A bike like that will only go up in value as time goes by.
    I inherited a 1955 BSA GoldenFlash that i valued at 2000/ 2500 ... 5 years later and they are fetching 4500/5000 in the condition mine is in

    Thanks for the kind words folks. Makes all those nights in yhe garage worth while. And don't worrie it got a tossing tonight. I near forgot how much fun these little things are.
    As for the red stripe I think I will get it done at some stage. I think it looks better with out but it had it from new so it should have one now.

    lovely bike mate! i would get the red on it too, but it is nice as it is, fond memories of my rd and lc 350 i had, you gotta love them two strokes!!
