Hi i've been looking around the forum for a few days and liked what I saw so signed up!
Been riding since I was 17, but bought my first fireblade a couple of months ago of RR6 variety.
I'm sure I'll be asking all the age old daft question along the way.

    Hi Andrew.

A good idea to vet us first they're all mad buggers on here. I'll say it before anyone else does... Get some pictures of your bike on here, it's like porn for these guys.

    Cheers

    Ken

I think perhaps, chronologically, "Vaseline" should come before "Leo Vince", doesn't it?

It resolves "It will fit" better.

I'll try and get a few pictures of my bike up in the next few days but at the moment i've got it stripped down, as i'm half way through fitting a new exhaust system!
I'm begin to think i'm mad for not having a power commander here ready to put straight on, it would be so much easier being it's in pieces anyway!!

Oh a quick question how much do most places charge for a custom rolling road map as I could'nt really see any maps that match what i'll have done to my bike?

Hi mate is there a few more on here from down this way then?
When I was originally searching for the bike I was planning on getting a newer model but everything that I could find at the time was either big money or north of Birmingham.
A couple of weeks ago I spotted this on ebay and i'm kind of gutted I didn't hold out a bit longer: eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace looks like a cracking buy to me!!!

Oh it's nothing out of the ordinary really, it's just the exhaust system i've bought is a BSB spec race system and I wasn't sure if the maps on the power commander site would be close enough. Plus I could only see 1 map that included the flapper mod with the 02 sensor blank thingy!

Yeah I know they are stupidly light i'm sure I read that the titanium road system similar to mine saves around 11lb in weight, I don't know if mine weighs more or less.
I'm a bit concerned at just how loud it's going to be, as I saw 107db quoted!
