just read adrians article in the mcn, said he was already to start the 2013 season but then couldnt get enough sponsorship sorted, thats two top irish stars finished with ryan retiring last year, wish them both the best!
Old itchy balls is such a sound bloke. I remember when he got his first sponsorship With honda.he had a cbr600 road bike back then And me an him used to do wacky race's on the Way home from work.he has had a lot of disappointing Seasons lately and personally I think its the right choice As he hasnt anything to prove.
Money is tight for everyone - look at Yamaha - wonder how much (or rather how little) Monster paid to be lead sponsor - a move I don't understand as they were already committed to sponsor the Tech3 bikes which will both get loads of tv / airtime / coverage. Adrian may have thought why waste / possibly lose money when he does not have enough for potential winning bike / sponsorship to cover fees.
