Anyone got a hm lite quickshifter ? Fitted to a cbr1000rr

    Anyone got a hm super lite quickshifter on there cbr1000rr ?

    Just wanted to know if there worth the cash and a reveiw of them from a cbr1000rt rider

    Best mod I've done by far. Makes riding more fun, full throttle gear changes.

    Easy enough to fit, need to lift tank and remove air box to access coils.

    Often get decent 2nd ones on evilbay. Suzuki and Honda looms are the same.

    I've got one fitted on a 2014, great bit of kit for the money!

    I got the hm plus ss which I got off here , there a little more money than the lite but its a great bit of kit and best money I have spent .

    I can get the hm quickshifter plus for £250 second hand with shifter rod or hm lite for £220 will i need the shift rod or can i use the original on the standard bike ??? Thx

    You will need a shift rod, think they say measure stock then minus 50mm for correct rod. Look on the HM website.

    ive got standard rearsets so I had to get a new shift rod from hm for £15 , but I'm not sure on the lite.

    I’ve got the GP one on mine (came on the bike when I bought it), you can fiddle with loads of settings, prob too many and it’s supposed to be self learning. I’m not sure I’d personally buy one new with my own cash unless I was a trackday god or a racer. I’d prob go for the plus. They are cool and you’ll easily shave a few seconds off the journey when nipping to the shops :D
