As the title says, has anyone tried on of these ?

    http://www.boosterplug.com/shop/cms-21.html

I have a 08 and want to smooth the small throttle opening response, don't want any more power just smoother fuelling.

I did try the search button but nothing.

    Any help much appreciated.

I fitted a Booster Plug to my previous bike, Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport, to try and smooth out the snatchy fuelling at small throttle opening response.
The device tricks the ECU into thinking the outside temperature is around 20c lower than actual, to allow for a richer fuel mixture.
There was a very slight improvement, but not enough for a fix.
I would rather adjust the air/fuel mixture and get the bike fuelling correctly with possibly a power commander than tricking the ECU with false air temp readings.

Brilliant device -- had one on every bike for some time. Just fitted one to 2014 Blade.

I've heard a remap can sort the dreaded snatchy throttle

For sure a well done remap can sort, but at cost. For me a booster plug is a simpler, cheaper, plug & play fix. I run mine with an SP Engineering stubby and just as on all other bikes I've had recently it solves the off idle stumble. But each to his own as they say.....
