Is it beyond the realms of science to have a slightly larger photo on the Avatar ? I am sure it would enhance the site and encourage others to change the photo more which in turn may be interesting .
think it usually takes more than a mod to do this, depending on the permission settings that is. this is mine on another bike forum
Yes, why? So you need the big red button? Or your meaning size of Avatars? It's out of mods hands we have no say in that.
No no no GaryB Don't roll over on us .You have connections and influence we want a result here .Please come back soon with a proper answer .
How exactly did we win the war ? Let's get you mods busy and proactive ! Your only a vote away from exile.
There's a limit of 80 x 80 pixels or 19.5 kb, whichever comes first, I'm afraid. And now I've tried to go back to my favourite one, he's no longer banging his head against the wall.
Is the limit not being set and managed by the vbulletin forum software? Miby ur wee dudes just finally making some progress and no longer needs to take it out on the wall?
What have i done now Martin? There's been so many..... The clever stuff is left to admin mate, your god on a bike! you certainly wouldn't want me diving in anywhere near it with my track record! Took me 1 year to sort my own Avatar out. We humble folk are more proactive on the forum than anyone would ever give us credit for Mike, most times you don't actually see the fruits of our labour. The war I fight is not in the settling of petty arguments "Ken has a special button for that" But weeding out the threats of spammers and folk for some unknow reason who join just to gain access to attack the forum. But vote away if you want to dude. I can always change my bike I feel it won't be long before he's back to his old ways Ken.
The limit is posted in the vbulletin software, yes Craig, I'm not certain whether that can be over ruled by admin though. It's not in my toolbox, I tried last night for you all and it won't listen to me. I suspect that if it can be changed, it's been locked to free up processing power on the server. My wee man has enough to bang his head against the wall to last the rest of his lifetime, so this morning I re-animated his gif so he can continue to protest his lot
I used to admin a vbulletin forum. It is possible with a mod, but would need the site administrator to change few lines of code...
