I think if you re-read what I said you'll find I said "we" and "us" not you.

While the majority of us like to think we're considerate riders it only takes a few show offs to give us a bad press.

bet you can HEAR these bikes before you can see them, because they have very loud pipes ;) :D

I do keep my DB killer/baffle in on road though :) but its still way louder than standard pipe :)

    Hi
I had the Akropovic megaphone fitted and the baffles were like a fiddlers elbow in, out,in ,out depending on my
Paranoia with the welsh police any excuse to stop you !

I was given a £50 ticket by said welsh police for removing the baffle not because of the noise but he said i had tampered with it . (You have to buy the baffle seperate) . I said sorry shall i put a baffle in ? He said No , i just have to give you a ticket for something .... Nice

Just noticed using the Yoshi R77 end can with baffle in has blown and split the carbon end cap and the titanium case as was hard on the gas for a long time, so don't think it likes the heat/back pressure build up for long length of time.

Hi mate, I keep mine in now. Its a bloody loud can. Its a bit stuttery at 3K to 4K and with the baffle out its crazy loud.

I noticed a small drop in MPG - used to get about 135 mls on a full tank now get about 125 to 130 - so not a massive difference.

I ride out to Matlock quite often and the Derbyshire police love to do road side checks - so baffle out would get me a fine.

Agree. I was astounded how the VTR guzzled fuel, even with my 'old man' 3,000 revs max limit:). I expect the Aprilia V-twin to return about the same.

    Baffle out, plugs in.

I have no choice with the current system as it doesn't take a baffle.

Just got mine from Scorpion for the MT......what a pisstake! £39!!!!!!!

    533C7CF0-A5FD-4AC6-BC93-2F20A7AD77EE.jpeg

Yep, seriously! Can’t even tell the difference but the guy from Scorpion reckons it’s worth a 1.5-2 db reduction and anything longer interferes with the power too much!
