i am on a roll today, quick question, does fitting a DB killer into a yoshi make much difference, i have seen a few people say they strangle the bike but cant really see that. how much quieter are they.

if the bike was set up with baffle out will that make a difference.

Which Yoshi have you got? I’ve got a GP Force on an RR6 and relatively recently I put in the official Yoshi baffle. Made a big difference to volume. Hard to say on power as I changed the map on the PC3 at the same time. Definitely smoother and more progressive afterwards.

I’m planning to go stick the bike on a dyno soon and see what difference it makes baffle in vs baffle out, and also the different PC maps too. Will post once I’ve done it!

I’m assuming the bike you’re talking about isn’t the one in your avatar?

That’s a dBHP killer. Sounds like it’s as or more restrictive than the stock exhaust.

Yea it's ridiculous. Just had two maps set on the Dyno, definitely investing in a Akra or mhp.

The maps between a baffle and non baffled r77 are quite different especially at lower revs. I would imagine without custom mapping the power output would be greatly impacted.
