Too many variables, weight in leathers, what bike, what year, standard forks and shock? Need more info.

Yeh - that would probably help....

    2008 blade
    Standard forks
As the k-tech rear shock wouldn't fit - probably an Ohlins TTX
    About 95kg

    Cheers

I have a thread in here titled are you 15 stone and wanna set up your suspension, search for it. It contains track settings from Dave Moss and info and advice from others on here.
These settings were way too stiff for me for the roads but it was very informative in my setting up my bike to suit me. Have a read it's well worth it. You could just dial in his settings and try it.

    I don't follow.

There's info in the first page if that's what you want, it's suitable for a fifteen stone rider. If you wanna learn what does what then read further. Have a search for the thread and take a look!!

One thing tho, set the sag first. If you're 95kg then set it as standard at 6 turns from full out then increase it by 2 turns. then increase the rear preload collar to 6 steps from 4 standard. Worked for me.

Was meant to be writing a report but spent the last hour reading about suspension instead!!!

Good article and thanks for the pointers though I think I need to read it a second time as its a lot to take in.

Preload is the most important setting. The rest is personal. I ended up almost back at standard except for the preload.
Good luck. Keep us informed right here. ; )

A 55 profile rear tyre makes it turn in better too as it's 8.5mm taller.
