31mph over the speed limit could result in a £650 fine if caught speeding (speed cameras) in 12 European countries.
As from the 7th May, authorities have the right to prosecute and fine UK motorists and motorcyclists IN the UK via DVLA
Better remember that myself as euro trip starts in 5 weeks.

Gee, I'm going to Paris at the end of May. Glad I'm taking the train - with the carefully packed cat cushion for napping:).

Just hoping there won't be too much political turmoil at the time.

The Yellow Vest protesters are going to organize a run on the Banks, with a coordinated withdrawal of their money

That is a biggie ! - and when is this going to happen - well according to the "Fake News" - this will take place 12 January 2019 (this Saturday).

The idea of moving the mass protest away from the street has been described as a crossing the Rubicon moment.

We shall see - so if anyone is going to France this weekend - might be an idea to take some cash with you :D

Quote from the BBC regarding to the damaged speed cameras.

“Speed limits in France were already controversial after the government lowered the limit on many main roads from 90km/h to 80 (50mph) early last year.”

This has also been happening to several of my favourite routes here over the last couple of years.

It's a conspiracy. The police have been instrumental in reducing these 'favourite road' limits to enable them to easier capture responsible motorcyclists with smaller than legal number plates!;)
