I thought there might still have been a bit of a chill in the air, but apparently not. Hartside, cafe is still a burnt out shell, but the cafe in Melmerby, Hollieberry cafe is open.
Great to get out on the bike. 121 mile round trip.

The way I ride I could go back to a Suzuki GT185
It ended up in power mode 2 because I accidentally dicked about with the settings whilst on the move and couldn't remember what mode I'd set off in. They all feel the same to me.
Point of note. As someone on here recommended. I filled it up with Shell V-Power today and the hunting was ever so slightly better, but I should hope so for an extra 30p a litre.

It's had quite a lot of resurfacing on the Penrith side. A bit of gravel about too

Looking at the lean angle on the front tyre good effort...as for the v power that was me ....I was in mode 2 today there is a difference mode 1 is instant throttle and the suspension dials right up not good on coming out of winter roads full of potholes and crap on the roads...

I use the premium grades in all my four strokes, generally BP Ultra. Sure we pay a bit more, but it's not just performance related, it's a cleaner fuel (allegedly) and being ethanol free (allegedly) creates less concern for those of us who might go 4 - 5 months before refilling.:)

Play nice @nigelrb - just because you’re too busy eBaying to get out for a ride today there’s no need to make a nuisance of yourself :D

Was going to go out for a spin today, but the gritters beat me to it. Have to wait for a few days rain to wash it away now (which won’t be a problem up here) then wait patiently for the next dry day.:(

Home to Devils bridge, sedburgh to Hawes to ingleton back to Devils bridge then home. I met up with yet another newly purchased SP1 owner. 68 reg from Blackpool Honda only done 300 miles so far, says he’s going to join this forum, so look out for nick or was it Mick? He’s from Thornton clevleys . I’m now a veteran with over 938 miles ont clock. 63 miles added today, oh no I’ll be putting some more of that V-Power in again soon.
Weather was a bit cooler than yesterday but bearable. So that probably it for this year now lol.

I would give my left.......actually I'd happily give both testicles to have that Ducati in my garage! :)

I've no need for them now anyway!:D
