Bennetts Rewards track day at Oulton Park 27th August.

Hi guys and girls, just wondering if anyone else from the forum will be there as last time I met up with @SimonRR and his brother.
Only place I could get was in the advanced group so feeling a little apprehensive as it's the first time in the group plus I'll be on the 2020 blade, so it'll take some getting used to the new bike.
If anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated, apart from "You must be mental taking the new bike on track", yes I know.

If you can only go in the fast group just see how the first session goes, if it's quite obvious your too slow you'll soon get bumped down a group for your own safety. Especially if there is any superbike / superstock boys there testing. Which is quite possible as they are there a couple of weeks later!!!

It's an age thing Si, but it was some off here, I think from London area.

 

Yeah done it a few time but need to get the feel of this new bike, however I've never had a full dry one there, always rained

 

Things are looking up as I now have a place in inters instead, so no holding up the fast guys, although I have been in fast group before but not at Oulton.

 

Same - always rainy when I've been at Oulton, standing water at the apex of the first corner isn't exactly ideal
