Best route from Newark on Trentham to Ashbourne

    This Friday 8 of us are setting off from Suffolk to Ashbourne and does anyone have any good route suggestions. We are planning to go via Newark on Trentham but after that's not sure the best roads to take in that area.

    If you pop Newark to Buxton in Google maps & choose the via A616 option it'll take you on some cracking roads from Newark across to Chesterfield, then down to Baslow thru 13 bends and onto the A6 towards Buxton. Be careful of mobile cameras on A6 & parts of A616 tho
