OK I've got a alot of time on my hands.
I'm in the process to doing a major service and detail. As part of the service I will be protecting and lubricating surfaces but as a keen detailer I'm always aware of over zealous cleaning and washing off all the greases meticulously just put on.

Essentially I will be applying the greases to a clean bolt and subject to various greasers/solvents to ascertain its resistance to being removed. (below)

    Test 1
Submerge the greases in the degreaser/solver over night
Then hold then under a tap and observe the resistance.

    Test 2
Repeat Test 1 in a elevated temperature (100 degrees)
Then hold then under a tap and observe the resistance.

    Greases on Test
Specifically I'm looking at greases that may be used on calipers or bolt threads though some may no longer be recommended

    ACF corrosion block grease
    Red rubber grease
    Copperslip
    Mintex Ceratec
    Proslip clip

    Solvents/Degreasers/Cleaners
These are the chemicals I use as part of my detailing arsenal at recommended dilutions

Bilt Hamber Autofoam - Prefoam wash (Dilluted to 4%)
Bilt Hamber Surfex - Dedicated greaser (Dilluted to 10%)
Bilt Hamber Surfex - Dedicated greaser (Fully concentrated100%)
Bilt Hamber Auto wash - Body Shampoo
Bilt Hamber Auto wheels - Wheel cleaner will fall out remover
    Generic Brake cleaner

    ......Results to follow
