Well I have just emptied the fork oil out of my BPF on my 2012 blade after some 6000 miles and I have to say it's looking Sh*t. The oil resembles some brown crap with particles of silver all in it. It also stinks like cat's pi*ss. Clearly it has collected all the running in particles from new and needs a re-fresh. A job that only takes a couple of hours from start to finish. I use 10 weight fully synthetic oil that clearly Honda do not!!!
R they meant go look that shite inside after only 6000 miles?? Bit worrying, there wud b a national outcry if car parts looked crap after 6k miles, so why do we bikers put up with it??
Sorry for my ignorance, didnt know that tbh, never changed it in me previous bikes n me last one did 55k in 4 yrs
