If anyone's not aware of these guys then here's a link to their photo locations this year. They're at A6 Matlock this Sunday 22nd and it's looking a great sunny day at the moment in case anyone local wants an action pic https://www.facebook.com/BikerPicsUK/events
Spygoat, genuine question. I see images of Harley Riders sometimes with their arms held high, full stretch to reach the bars. Does this cause discomfort? It sure doesn’t look comfortable.
Depends on the rider. I used to have apes (short for ape-hangers, the tall wide bars) and had to switch to shorter t-bars on my Harley. I have had extensive damage from various things on my right side, so it would kill my shoulder and hands. In my opinion, the apes make it harder to control the bike. Some love it, some hate it. I am of the mind that tighter (narrower) bars allow for better control and more comfort.
They're on the Cat and Fiddle on Saturday 4th April, 9am til 3pm...….i'll meet you up there weather permitting! This Sunday is Mother's Day......not a chance i'll be out
I'll try my hardest, don't forget though I had @Selmer50mark behind me last time and his sheer size creates a reverse drag suction type vortex that's prevents me from reaching higher speeds!!!! I think we should ride up and down the Cat all day, guaranteed some good shots then!
I've got 4 kids to 3 different women...... I think the least I can do is spend the day with the Mother of my most recent child
