Lovely - how you finding it in 'A' power mode?

Does that include a DeCat pipe? bet it sounds epic with baffles removed if the cat has gone as I know mine does!

I've no idea mate, I've not ridden it yet but it sounds awesome and yes the Y piece removes the cat.

I use B mode in traffic / any rain - STD most of the time, then just A on open / flowing stuff

I would say 90% of the time its in STD - they hate low speeds / traffic with a passion!

They also like to stop at every second fuel station they see, don't they Al! :D

They are nice machines to ride but you really need to keep one eye on the speedo as they are deceptive as hell for going faster than you think especially in towns! :)

They are ace - just power everywhere in the rev range and constant engine power delivery - no idea how but it just pulls like a train from any revs, in any gear!

You 'get used' to the range - its OK maybe 110 miles to the light, but I'd not trust it to go very far with the light on unlike a blade where you have 20 - 25 miles on the light

Likey Likey! Good choice and a top colour. After riding Barneys BM I am looking forward to a spin on Als bike on a summer nights meet just to taste the power.

Nice one dude. A mate has just bought a brand new 2014 bike, straight through yoshis and de-catted with trick bits added, it's an awesome machine. Sounds incredible too. I'd have one.

:( I really do miss my R1, best bike ever made imo...

Al is right it pulls so so hard in any rev range, low, middle or top, hell i just had to look at the throttle and it was gone....

My only criticism was that it was a little lumpy when setting off and the engine breaking was a tad over the top but i had all that dealt with when the ecu was flashed...

In fairness and going against the R1 mutual appreciation society my R1 was probably the nicest looking bike I've seen. However, I had to climb all over the thing to get it to corner unlike the blade which seems to corner instinctively.

Don't normally like the R1 but in the speed block scheme it does look good
