Following on from my gixxer or s1000rr thread, I got the s1000rr.

Collected it this morning and all I can say it isfantastic.

Blipper/Shifter is silky smooth, it's restricted to 9000rpm until after the first service. But I still have three power modes to choose from.
    Even Rain mode is good.

Just going to add a tail tidy, mra double screen.

The bmw just felt right mate, not sure if it's the v4 motor.

Just felt more confident and at home on it

I fancied an RSV but the nearest dealer's a bit of a nob and weren't interested in discounts. My boy would never forgive the single seat too. ;)

Bloody hell. That's devotion. I read into that that a more local dealer didn't cut the mustard!

My mate works at the dealership, I get good discount.

And I had a bmw dealership in Manchester write my bike off, then had a load of hassle getting it sorted out

Don't let a bmw dealership wash you're bike, mine got wrote off and it seems common for bikes to get damaged due to wheel acid or tfr

    Also agree.

Their objective is quick and simple. No love, no care, and no tenderness. (Shit, just reminded myself of my former matrimonial relations:rolleyes:

Paul, you are on record as saying you want a second bike . . . ;) I'm figuring it'll be too hard to hide from your wife:p

I can say on record I am constantly looking for a second bike, but.....it's unlikely that it will happen soon. I don't use the one I've already got enough so it's all down to justifying a second bike. Once I get my head around that......who knows!

So you're still tied up with cycling interests? You seemed to always be on your bike every free moment.
