    Hi there guys

Has anyone here fitted braided brake lines to they're ABS model Blade. I had these fitted to my gixer & quite fancy a set of carbon HEL lines.

Also how are they to fit because of the ABS system?

    Thanks

This is the only bike I have ever owned that I will not be changing to braided hoses - looks too big a job on the ABS. That along with the problems being encountered with the ABS system.

The ABS light started flashing continuously yesterday. I had a look at the thread on the 1000rr.net site and see some horrendous problems with the system and Honda not even issuing a recall. A few guys are having intermittent brake failure.
Mine will be checked along with the ABS ECU upgrade when it goes in to have the oil burning problem rectified (hopefully).

Jeez I hope it gets fixed. You really are having bad luck with ur bike mate. You would think Honda would want to rectify the brake problem asap or else they'll end up the same way toyota did with theyre cars.

    Cheers Colin.
Although i am having a bit of a mare with the Blade at the moment, I still love it!
I am concerned over the brakes but i think it will be sorted when it goes back.
Hopefully should have more news in the week when Pidcocks Honda have put the claim into Honda UK.

Those look mint. I don't no if I would spend £200 on them though. It would b more of a bling thing for me than an upgrade. Hhhmmmm. I wonder if I could get a deal on them at the NEC.

You get 2 lines for rear and 2 lines for front got mine for a 100 notes of ebay cos the guy was scared to fit!! ;)

They aint hard to fit just time and paitence to make it neat :) the bleeding was pretty easy bleed as norm ie master the calipers! then bleed all the metal pipe uninons then back to master and calipers hey presto you got a lever!!

Right gonna do One of dans build thread pics right now!
