Speaking as a woman I couldn't agree more bazza.
Most of them doing the shrieking about it are usually ugly with big moles on their faces anyhow and should stick to gluing themselves to the top of fuel tankers....which hopefully will then go under a low bridge

Absolutely keep them, but if a team want a gazebo geezer or a brolly beefcake then I think that would only be fair to keep the girlies and Bradt amused

A womans work is equally as important as anyone else on the grid!!! Keep 'em I say!!

 

They're just a naff distraction from the bikes and racing if you ask me. If the teams want to employ someone to keep the sun off the rider on the grid then fair enough, don't really see the need for them to be semi naked though. I didn't bat an eyelid when they disappeared from F1 a few years ago.

 

I wonder how many couples met on the grid through the ladies doing this line of work. It surprises me in this age of H&S and liability wary insurers that any non-essential personnel are still allowed on the grid or in pit lane.

I dont really care, but I do think its a bit weird, and whats with the camel toe pants they wear?

I do know that Adrian Flux girls are actual employees, but are hetero men really that desperate for a little bit of titillation?

I have seen brolly boys too, and they were wearing far more clothes.


Anyway, like I said, i dont care, but I dont think its exactly doing the scene any favours of inclusivity

 

oh, and they have a cardboard one at my local gym. The men don't care, and the women complain about it

I use it as a landmark when I direct people to the well hidden toilet, 'turn right at the naked lady'
