I know, that's what I keep thinking but then as Nigel said there are a load like mine for sale all around £8k and from dealers where you will get warranty compared to a private sale plus my frame being 'weathered'.

Good luck with them, i've not seen the Repsol hope he gets back to you. If you decide it's not for you I would appreciate the link to have a look!

Ah thanks i've seen it then. Is it the one with the Brembo master cylinder? If it is I was thinking track bike with the mods that have been done.

Ah yes thanks had seen it and didn't enquire as it's not an original Repsol as it's original fairings are black.

Edit to add - that is me being fussy because otherwise it's a great looking bike and great condition/miles. I have no idea how to take fairings off and change them so it would be wasted on me or i'd have to learn/risk breaking bits

It's not far from me either.

Hey Spoons, you'd better hurry up on this or you'll be without a bike!:(

I know it’s not a nice thought! However i’m still waiting on my buyer Saturday morning as although he has paid a deposit and i sent him photos he has bought the bike without viewing it which I would never do so I still have to think there is a small chance he will see it and not want it. I’ve not enquired about any other bike after that rr4 because of that. So Saturday if/when it goes i’ll then be messaging sellers. I even looked last night at what other 2015 repsol bikes were available :D

Bloody hell @Nytol. Please don't ever recommend a bike to me;).

You may not have looked closely, but it's got more blemishes on it than a teen with severe acne, AND it's an 04 - 05 model. Can get much better than that for the same money.:)

I got a bit confused by the seller’s description of the damage. Some louts broke into the shed and vandalised the bike?
Who does that? More likely they nicked it and crashed it?!

I posted the wrong link :D

I had previously read that one and must have had the tab still open, lol

I'm also half looking for another 04-07 bike, as much as I like my 2015 SP, I don't love it like it did my 2005 :(

    Yeah sure:rolleyes:;).

Can't blame you for your thoughts on the 04 -07. I still believe they're a magnificent, comfortable bike. Haven't had mine out for a while, but will soon for its MoT. You've obviously seen there's a few available. but I am surprised about the number of people seeking them - you're the third - just on this forum - over the recent week. Would you still need the helibars on one?

Yes, I had them on my old one, and on many occasions did 300-400 miles in a day, without any anxiety about comfort.

I don't think I'd be up for that on the new one, even with the bars and rear sets.

Best I start making more effort to find one then :D
