    I'm not doing myself any favours, I am hugely impulsive, hence the K1300s HP, sitting in the garage doing very little :rolleyes:

    It’s on FB selling page the guy comes across as a bit of a dick so I am leaving it and now concentrating on an 04 I have found

    Huh?

    Conundrum. Why is it that any reference to 'dick' is always taken in the negative?:confused:

    Are there not any nice, refreshing, positive, glorious, top-of-the-line dicks to be considered?;)

    If it's a good bike at the right price, whack a set of Chinese fairings on it. Then you'll have your Repsol or whatever you want!

    I’d been thinking about that! I’ve not looked and don’t know anything about Chinese fairings what sort of price are they? Then a dream machine paint job or whoever are the go to company these days to do the exact repsol colours of my 15 plate.

    Thanks Nigel that’s great info. Is there another recommended bike body shop people have used that don’t charge dream machine prices? I only know of dream machine as that’s a name that goes back years but knew they were expensive as they are regarded the best there is. Ideally I want to find the right bike in the right colour but it could be a long wait and as you say a low mileage bike in the right condition is more important than the colour. Mine hasn’t gone yet anyway, next weekend it’s going (my doing not the buyers and he was fine with it) so I can’t buy until the cash is in the bank anyway.

    That is good to know, as I'm put off by the looks of some of the bikes that otherwise seem decent.

    Why did I sell mine :(

    You bought it already? If so, congrats. My fave 04 also!!

    I'm not going to be outdone by anyone. Off to ebay top look for a bike. Even if it's an old C77 Dream, I'm up for it!!:D

    Very very nice! With only 6k i’m guessing it was top money. I’m envious :cool:

    I've just found one I am asking about and if all checks out I will put a deposit on it to hold it for me. Not as good as Gary's but good enough for me.

    That's actually a good price because we've both seen much worse bikes for 4700-plus!

    The collection's coming on really good. Any more links for your discards?:D

    :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    That’s a steal! You must be very pleased with that find. I had been thinking £4750 ballpark being 1 owner from new with that mileage.

    I asked questions about the one I want and he hasn’t come back to me - got back to me got someone viewing it tomorrow despite me saying I wanted it and would pay deposit :(
