Mine was recovered in Alcantara and carbon leather, with red piping (see above). I had the CBR 1000rr logo stitched in. The cost was £100 all in, but i bought a second hand seat which was ripped for £10 off ebay. The only problem with alcantara, is that it fades in the sun, and if it gets wet, you have a soggy bottom. Haha.
That is beautiful Si !! I like the look of the Alcantara but it looks like grippy and i like to slide about a bit on the seat... Is it grippy ? Not bad at all at £100 mate. How long did they take to turn it around ? Is it more comfy than the standard was ?
It is grippy, yes..not too bad though. As for comfy, never noticed tbh...seems the same on long runs...they all kill your arse after 500 miles mate...haha. Turn around was: i dropped it off on Monday, picked it up Friday.
Just bought this... Comfort foam, build up at rear (to stop me sliding back too far) and re-trimmed on a brand new base. Superb quality.
That's what I wanted... but got sick of waiting for a used one to come up for sensible money. This seat is less than half the price!
