    Hi,
I’m on the look out for a carbon Fibre front mud guard for my 2010 fireblade ?
And as a longer shot possibly a carbon tank cover too....

    Cheers

There’s one on gumtree ad ref 1317670183 for £100 (someone called Mark in Elgin). Don’t know if the link below will have copied and paste correctly but thought it worth a go

You can view the ad at 2009-2011 Honda fireblade Carbon mudguard

    Thanks lads

Mudguards seem to be available on eBay for just over £100 so I might just go with one of them, not sure how good they are but it’s a track/race bike and a lot of the front mudguard will be covered in red too to match the wrap on the body work, so they should do for that.

I had a bid in on the barons Kevlar tank cover, until I realized that his 2012 one wouldn’t fit mine.
But it looks really cool, again part of it would be wrapped so it would have been cool to have some of the Kevlar poking out !

Thanks, I already have one of those, the bike has nice amount of carbon fiber already and I was just looking to add to it, only about 3/4’s of it would be wrapped, and I wanted the exposed parts to be carbon, as it would save me getting the white parts painted.
Daft carry on I know, but I’m just trying to add a few extra nice bits to the bike over the winter and change the colour scheme on the spare body work it came with, as I won’t be on the bike again until March.

Solved. Wrap the other quarter in carbon wrap:

I've got his old bike which had the same tank cover on when I bought it, was tempted to bid on this as a spare although it's a bit flimsy and the quality isn't that great, the matching fairing were starting to crack in the gell coat and deteriorate a bit. look cool though :).

Lucky you, that bike looks the nuts in bare carbon.
