After a day at work came out to go home pulled off next thing I'm on the floor holding on to a spinning bike not a lot of damage but enough image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Got it home phoned dealer to see what it's going to cost to repair,£200 and he's got the nose cone in stock so no waiting happy days.So that just leaves the engine casing to do but it will have to wait until next month :mad:

Sorry to here about the spill. I bet you are gutted mate. £200 for a Repsol Nose is a bargain though!

    Glad you are OK.

Covers on my bike were damaged before I bought it and so I bought some R&G covers. I then bought the replacement bits as and when they appeared on ebay.

good stuff GB covers, saved my engine cases quite a few times, and the frame slider bobbins are the best ones out there, dont stick out far enough to dig in,but far enough to protect the frame/fairing in a slide.

Shame they don't do covers for the 04-07 blades. I like the look and reputation of GB covers.

I took my FJR out on Saturday, first time out on any bike for weeks. Roads were really greasy and had it spinning up a couple of times - was so tempted to take the Fireblade out instead of the FJR - glad I didn't.

Not good, glad there's not too much damage to you or the bike.

Thanks guys it's just annoying that I'm spending money that could be spent on other goodies.
