    Hi there

The third gear is known to be a weak point on these bikes, but normally only when the bike is being raced or tracked.

Just depends on how hard you have ridden it I suppose.

You'll need to split the engine though which is a bit of a pain, but easy enough if you have the tools and are not scared to get torn in.

I've just split my engine and have a gearbox sitting here in perfect condition if you do need 1 or any other parts from the engine just let me know.

Haha exactly the opposite ends of the country :)

I'm up in Aberdeen at the moment

No issue if you need parts, but I could have given you a hand if closer.

Come on Colin, Its only 8 hours or so. Get yourself down there and give him a hand, take your surfboard and you can catch a few waves once you've sorted it. :D

I've been swimming in Stonehaven harbour on New Years Day (near Aberdeen) - it was cold

I've also got a gearbox available in for sale section if needed
