u can buy them from Austin racing there only about £20 but u might want put a couple of more welds on it as mine fell apart
Thanks for that, I will have a look on their site. I thought they were held in place with an internal grub screw.
I have had a response which contradicts the above info: "The 50mm is in reference to the inserts, not the Db killer, Its the 60mm Db killer you require for your exhaust, There is no additional fixing hardware required, it simply slots in between the can and the link pipe by removing the retaining springs" I have just placed an order for one, so will see when it turns up. It was indeed £20....plus postage and vat, so £36 in total, incase anyone else is need of one anytime. Thanks for all your help.
it can get confusing that's the exhaust size's I posted, think there all 60mm because there exhausts are 60mm, u even answered your own question in the 1st post, lol. don't expect much diff in noise reduction, lol, loudest exhaust ever, I couldn't take the noise, im back standard
Don't say that regarding noise reduction! I am not adverse to a bit of noise, but am doing the NC500 next month and thought the noise may be a bit much all day, every day for a week or so, hence the DB killer! Guess I better get some better ear plugs!
I always ride with earplugs. Not just because of the Racefit I've got fitted, but wind noise is a sure way to early hearing loss. Huh, what was that? ...sorry, I thought you said something.
