Over in Ireland for the Ulster GP riding down the coast rd really strong smell coming from the bike next thing nothing it just died, looked like some sort of leakage at the back had a little taste "BATTERY ACID" took seat off the battery had exploded !!!!!!. Got the bike recovered to Ballymena honda where the guys charged and fitted a new battery but nothing, it was turning over but nothing happened the fuel pump is priming very slow and lazy so as it tries to fire it just cuts out and it's started to blow EFI fuse with too many start attempts, the old fella at the dealers does not have a clue what is causing the problem so it's get shipped back home next week, don't know if the reg/rectifier was continually charging the battery what made it go but there is definitely something else gone as well. Any ideas guys would be appreciated apart from that the racing was awesome Cheers.... jason
