I clean everything with Mr Sheen.

    I can't explain why. It's a disability:(.

Didn't know you were supposed to clean the discs. I thought transferring pad material to the discs was part of the bedding in process.

A Lady can never have enough Würth

I'm not sure what that contraption is below it....but it's been handy over the years as a training device for smartarse blokes when the cattle prod isnt working o_O

    Agree. I've never done mine.

Would owners of high-performance cars do it?

To be fair though if you ride all year in all weathers the spray on brake pad ones are great for the grit & sh#t
Maybe don't need it for dry summer riding so much but it has its uses for the former :)

Of course. I wasn't even thinking of the adverse weather. Makes total sense now.

I am slow, but I get it in the end. (Not 'get it in the end' that way, well, you know what I mean;))

Never done it through the winter either. I just clean the calipers when servicing them and that's about it. Mind you, I rarely clean the rest of the bike either it has to be said.

Looks to me like you can use it on your chain too. I find that a bit odd. From something has should be kept clean and dry to something that is kept oiled

Interesting comment from the 'thinking outside the square' platform. Full of logic too.

So what would it do to the 'O' rings?

I've just had a rummage in my lady cave as I had a tin of spray brake pad cleaner specifically for my pads but I seem to have run out and I can't remember what it was.
But this one and the Wurth state they are safe for the REST of the brake components as well as chain.
