ok guys, didnt want to put this in the racing thread as its advice on the circuit i need, never been(yes its sad i know) just booked accomodation and now looking at tickets. is it worthwhile booking granstand seating? or take chances sitting out on the slopes? taking missus, looked on the website seems a good deal on the packages at godards, which when you total up parking, paddock pass, snacks its not a bad deal. any advice would be helpfull.

Personally i wouldnt bother with a grandstand ticket, there are plenty of good vantage points at
donnington. You will have a good day whatever though :)

Good places to view from are near the spitfire, gives you s great view of craner curves and old hairpin. Also the Foggy esses is a good place to Appreciate how late they brake and how powerful the brakes are!
