Well I dropped my RR6 off with Russ at Bolton Motorcycle Workshop this morning and let him talk me into having some M7RR's fitted. Never tried metzelers but heard lots of good things about them on here. 2 days riding to Donington at the weekend should scrub them in nicely!!

I swear by Metzelers, I use the sport touring Z8 interact , love em,hard center and soft edges, good grip and especially good wet grip'
Hope you get on with them

Just got back from speaking to Russ and considering my bike has a full service history I was shocked when he showed me the air filters he'd taken off my bike!

I'm hoping they arrive from Tyreleader before tomorrow so I can get them fitted ready for 2 days riding to Donington.

So I picked my RR6 up today after waiting for my new tyres to arrive and what can I say. Absolute transformation. Bike feels so much better from the smoother running engine to the awesome brakes. I really can't recommend Russ and Bolton Motorcycle Workshop enough. When your R&G crash protectors have been put back on straight so your OCD doesn't go into overdrive and your ASV levers have been stripped and regreased as part of the service you know you've found THE place your bike will be serviced forever.

Had my first proper ride today after the service and M7RR tyres fitted and got to say OMG.
Bike feels so much better especially loving the hrc quick action throttle I've had fitted too. Also the tyres feel amazing after the sportsmart 2's I had on before.

Talking about the devil. It seems, that the dealers don't care any more.
That's mine when I checked my bike, after it was delivered.
It had to be after a service and a 50 point check :) IMAG2019.jpg IMAG2020.jpg

Are you servicing yours yourself now or have you find a decent workshop like me?

I've started to do everything myself, apart from tricky stuff like valve clearance etc.
Don't really care any more about the stamps in the service book, cause it doesn't reflect the condition of the bike.
And lesson learned, it's always better to get the bike of someone you know or from the forum.
