dunlop slicks

    to keep it short and sweet. just bought zx10r gen4 track bike. has come with slicks, which are just about worn but hopefully will get me round cadwell on tuesday. weather suposedly gonna be about 12 degrees. i,ve never run slicks before. has anyone got any ideas on what pressures to run. i,ll obviously have a chat to the tyre guys on the day also. many thanx

    Looks like you got a bargain day :D
    I was looking at Tuesday, but as the saying goes, "If you snooze......"

    Tyre pressure wise, here you go. Just bear in mind the low track temperature.

    I'd be tempted to run road tyres then mate.

    I ran with M7RR's last time at Cadwell in inters and at no point did I feel the need to change to slicks.

    Heat up fast and also keep the heat for longer.

    I've also ran PR4's there in less than perfect conditions and again no issues.

    Keep the slicks for sunnier days ;)
