Think I already know the answer but here goes.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111775297191?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT having to sell the SLK and downsize due to being off work so just received an email off this guy saying hes out of the country and left everything in place for the sale,no feedback and been a member on ebay for less than a month. Worth pursuing ?
I had a 52 plate MX5 put 12k on it in 5 years and put 6k on the Merc in just under 4 years so I know its doable but know what your saying......unlikely, its just the other stuff all put together!!
Dave, you know the answer, zero feedback, out of the country, for that read Africa, need I say more, on yer toes mate and don't look back
My main concern would be that the seller claims to be out of the country, but what about if the V5 is in the address of where the car is being sold?
Looks like it has not moved much since April Dave.......maybe yer man has been out of the country a long time, could just be he buys and sells cars mate Just very very suspicious on car and bike sellers just registered on Fleabay and zippo feedback Sniff sniff....is that fish I can smell?
I have moved on from it mate just put it on Facebook Spotted UK Scammers someone else has been digging and found various stuff out on the car.
On another note guy and his wife turn up to look at the SLK so let em take it for a test drive and he comes back saying carpets are wet on passenger side im stunned as I was parking it on a hardcore car park next to a main road to advertise it so have been hovering it after every drive to keep the dirt out of it and I know my car it was bone dry so I can only presume this chancer has took a bottle of water and thrown it on the mats etc the top of the mat was wet through UNBELIEVABLE!!
Shoulda said........................ "Terribly sorry old chap, shame to have wasted your time coming to view, I'll take it straight off the market and get it scrapped, bye now!"
