The first blades ZX7's were my earliest memories of properly getting into bikes

Ha ha... And mine, never really got it to be fair, and a million quid?

Don't even think it's that pretty.

As I said to ya before, Dad always had them but for me it was always the nsr250, rs250, vfr400, rc30 /45, 916 and the original blade when that came out that I couldnt wait to pass my test and get one...

Its good but not that good, the price is a joke if its up for a mill, you can get a s/h motogp bike for less! And the nr only puts out around 130 bhp so your not buying it for power thats for sure, I know a chap thats rode one (len the mate of john with the nsr's for those local to me) and he said it was naff! Shocking but true...lol

Thats mental Arthur but I've read they wasn't as good as they should have been. Heard of them going for 250k but guess it's the rarity of it that makes it valuable?

I'd sooner buy the brand new rc on there for 35k... Sound investment that. Hasn't done a single mile.

Then again, couldn't own it and not ride it!!

Yeah I agree and you would have to ride it! The nr was way ahead of its time no doubt and the tech, well wow what can you say, oval piston two con rods each and 8 valves per cylinder I mean a v8 in truth, trust honda to pull the pin and make such a thing, shame so many tragic events like Japan and the global downfall has put pay to any crazy plans of a new rc from them for us now...I could never afford anything like that if they did but I could sit and stare and dream...lol I do a lot of dreaming...

Me too! Forever looking at eBay and bike trader at bikes I can't afford or dont have space for... Going to treat myself soon though...

If they bought out a new v4, I'd have to find a way to get one though.

Yeah that makes two of us, I have a bit of a collection of bikes but I would sell them all and my soul for a v5 rc211v rep! :D and maybe a new RC45ish..

Sold my soul to the devil too many times to do it again for a bike. Lol

Really fancy an rs250, a 916 or an sp2 to stick in the garage and use every now and then.

My dream would be to do a yzr500 replica with a tzr250 frame and rd500 engine, but lack mechanical skills to do it!

916 is a bit flat to impress but if you win get me a nice 998r, failing that an SP would be fine yes yes..and for a project Id like a RGV250 with a RG500 motor in it.. :)

916 - I'd get a bigger one if I did as you point out mate, the later bigger ones have more poke and are decent prices, but the r's are mega money.

Yep - 500cc nasty engine in a chasis that goes round corners!! Bliss.

Although finding a rd or rg lump is near on impossible, and would be criminal to take one out of a bike.

I'd have liked this one while the saddle was still warm.

I think that's a wild slur against Benn's intellectual capabilities there Jamie. And I won't lower myself to comment.

Everybody knows his knuckles only drag on the ground because of all the weights he lifts.

    I'm there for you Benn.
