Might be a silly question, but as I'm starting to look around at some blades I've noticed that the majority of bikes with an 'aftermarket' can on, have the exhaust fairing panel missing.

Is this just a necessary evil when you remove the standard can? Or can you get universal ones that go in place of the original. Without anything it looks like the fairing is missing a piece.

yes I know what you mean and it makes the bike look ugly is like someone with a beautifull face and mouth but shows a missing tooth when smiling!
Yoshi makes a panel to cover some of the hole but none look as nice as the OEM IMO

It's odd, I went to view 2 bikes at the weekend, and in the flesh it looked fine, but in pictures it looks like something is missing

I prefer mine without a panel too. Some of the aftermarket panels don't seem to align perfectly, which if you're a bit ocd can be more annoying than the pipe being exposed

I prefer it with the panel. My carbon fibre part came "free" with the £500+ racefit
