Just wondered if anyone has ever had a problem with lower fairing distorting off heat of exhaust . Just put a new lower fairing on and after a small mileage journey noticed started to slightly distort again. Gonna order some heat tape to line inside of fairing but any other remedies to stop this welcome.
Is it a chinese copy or original? Does not normally happen to original fairings. Either wrap the exhaust or buy some decent heat proof heat shield and line it.
First was original and one I just fitted is a delkevic as it was just to get me by as the bike is my transport for work so was a quick solution
Just buy some adhesive heat shield, I have done that on my chinese ones and no issues. I don't think just the reflective tape would work tbh.
