FAO arthurbikemad and jamie hrc

    here is the problem with the hm loom at was very clear when i got it back to inspect

    As you can see the wire is totally pulled out of the connector block.
    Im confident this is the only fault with the loom as it was only cylinder 1 where i had an issue and this is the connector block for cylinder 1.

    Is it possible to fix arthur ?? and if it is then jamie you are more than welcome to have it jamie

    Cant you just straighten the strands and tin them then pop it back in?

    I havent a clue with electrics mate so i dont know

    Thanks Fez not sure, really you need the pin extractor so you can pass the cable through solder it and put it back.

    Spoke to Arthur today and he is removing one from a customers bike as he has bought a ZX10 so should be getting that off him :)

    Thanks for taking the time and effort to do the pics and the kind offer your a true gent.

    I love this forum because of people like Fez :)

    Ok no problem mate. will ask arthur if he can fix it and if he can then i will pop it on ebay or something

    He will be able to find it a new home I am sure, he has found one for my ducati loom already :)

    Yes can fix it, send it down will do it for the price of postage, Jamie your loom is on it's way, have your shift rod, just waiting for customers bike to come in now..

    Its ok arthur, ahmed has taken it off my hands for a small fee so thats good to know he can fix it. i would have sent it down to you a few weeks ago but i havent had time to breath lately and totally forgot about it untill jamie asked me about it

    Glad you got something for it ...... You have to remember to breath ... We need you Fez ;)

    Arthur thanks will give you a bell latter to sort payment for the Rod etc
