Fez's feature build

As I have been reading through the bike build threads recently and thoroughly enjoying them I thought I would jump on board and start one of my own, so here it goes

After hanging on to a zx-10r for 10 months (literally) I realised it just wasn’t the bike for me so 18 months ago I decided to let it go and welcomed its new arrival with open arms

and hello 2008 cbr 1000RR, let the modding commence

 

So here is the bike as it came out of the factory


And this is the only pic I have of it in standard’ ish trim, It has the R&G tail tidy, rim tape a dark Honda screen, HRC tank pad and the rear pegs removed

 

Then several parts had a respray in white, some beautiful wheels, bellypan, rear hugger, chain guard and leo vince infill panel, Also added were some pazzo stubby levers, the GPR thunderslash exhaust, a Honda rear seat cowl, headlight covers (which I am tempted to put back on), a new pp2ct rear tyre and the odd sticker here and there

 

I wanted the headlight covers off as a mate got pulled with them on and I didn’t want to risk it, but after they came off the front end looked very bland so I tried to add a few stickers be improve it a little but I think I just made it worse so they came back off, added on were some mini rear indicators and a brake reservoir cover.

 

Time for some front and rear brake lines that I bought in the group buy and with them I put on some SBS sintered pads, sorted the front out by adding a moto grafix front number board and splashed out on some accossato rear sets.

 

Then finally i put on a new set a pirelli diablo rosso corsa's, a carbon petrol cap cover and a gold D.I.D chain and sprocket kit








and this is how she currently sits today but with the standard exhaust on


lots more ideas planned so as soon as i get my finances sorted out im sure there will be more updates to come
