filter new exsaust

    Hi I'm john put a k and n air filter and a gpr exsaust on my blade 2009 and now its being funny top it now become boggy and bottom end has dropped of too any one has advice for me about this please

    Hi John, and welcome.

    I suspect it has affected your mapping from the ECU (Engine Control Unit). Generally it is said that an aftermarket end can does not require remapping - however that is not always gospel.

    I hope one of the more technical wizards can steer you right during the afternoon.

    Nice one I will await sum more replys I did think it would probs be affecting ecu I will need to get it remaped then I'm just outside of Carlisle any one around my area thats good with a remap on ecu

    You need a power commander and a custom remap etc.

    Nice one blackdevil cheers for that wondering can I get the ecu thats on remap or am I best to get power commander too

    It depends. A reflashed ECU is one option and probably the best solution in my opinion. You will have several options if you go for the PC5. There is an auto tune option as well and you can remove the parts if you sell the bike.
    Also, it depends how good the tuner is and the Dyno. You have to find a very good Tuner in your area.

    Spot on good doo I will check them out thanks a reflashed ecu will be the cheaper option I guess I will be happy with that 1 map I fine once its set up to the bike be good and right
