Finally got a new bike!

    After a few hiccups I have my new bike.
    2008 R1
    Yoshi cans
    Giles rearsets
    Giles brake and clutch levers.
    CF rear hugger.
    Just need a dry day tomorrow now!

    Well done dude, was going to be heading up ur way tomoz to matlock but weather forecast is pants, oh well, get the kettle on n do sum more polishing :)

    I had a 2002 R1 a few years back . The only bike I never modified mainly because everything was done before I bought it

    It had a full QB Carbon body kit . The one with the twin fillers in the tank . Paint was Marlboro' and look stunning .
    I've got some pics somewhere but can't find them :(

    They are brilliant. Like a big 600... Nothing down low so got to get it singing... But once it hits 8k it goes bananas! Great fun... More rewarding to ride than the blade because you have to work it.

    Def get a suspension set up, can be a little harsh compared to the blade which is super smooth from the off...

    very nice mate....had a shot of an early 2000 R1....very easy to ride...but it had raised bars fitted, still nice nonetheless :)

    Congrats on the new bike R1's are a great bike, I used to have a old 2001 last of the carb models although it felt like it weighed a tone, it's pull on acceleration was insane

    Please excuse the fluro tape, I was young at the time and got a bit carried away with it
